Our Journey to Machu Picchu
As we stayed only 6 days in Cusco, We opted for a one-day adventure with Inca Rail (prices vary from 50$ to 200$ per person according to the package selected, including a shuttle service to and from Cusco. The day started at 8 am at the Inca Rail office, conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from Plaza de Armas. A bus ride transported us to Ollantaytambo, where our train awaited.
The train journey remains etched in our memories, choosing VIP compartment called "The Voyager" on the outbound trip allowed us to indulge in the beauty of the surroundings, through the big and immersive windows, offering breathtaking views of the Andean landscapes, while we opted for economy class on the return journey, enjoying the tranquil ride under the starlit sky.
Upon reaching Aguas Calientes, we arranged a transfer to Machu Picchu's entrance with "Consettur" the only agency providing this service, at a cost of $50 for both of us for the round trip. you can book at their office in Agua Calientes or book in front your ticket online to avoid queuing for the tickets.

His expertise not only enriched our understanding of Machu Picchu but also led us to the best spots for capturing unforgettable moments.
